Largo for String Orchestra and Piano

Largo was written for the G.A.T.E. honor orchestra of the Garden Grove Unified School District, Ed Peterson conductor. This was the year after Capricious Variations. This piece was arranged into a piano solo and became the first movement of the trio, Largo and Scherzo for violin, viola and piano.

Thanks to Jumi Pak for remembering this piece. She was concert mistress for the first performance many years ago. Her email prompted me to find this recording, and to get to work on making it available. Here is that first performance.
